1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Allow ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Allow ("we," "us," "our").

2. Description of Service

Allow is a guided affirmation and personal-practice app that provides:

• A personalized affirmation "path" built from your onboarding answers, organized into progressive stages
• A handcrafted library of affirmations from which your path's set is drawn, plus the ability to write your own custom affirmations
• Guided sessions that begin with breathing and present your chosen affirmations
• The ability to record affirmations in your own voice and play them back
• Multiple paths you can create and switch between
• Home screen and lock screen widgets
• Local notification reminders

Affirmation content is drawn from a built-in, handcrafted library and personalized on your device. The App does not use artificial intelligence to generate content and does not transmit your personal practice data for content generation.

The App is designed for personal wellness and self-improvement purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Trial

• The free trial is available to new subscribers only
• You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period
• If you do not cancel before the trial period expires, you authorize us to charge the subscription fee to your Apple ID or Google Play account

4.2 Plans and Pricing

• Yearly Plan: R$ 204,99 per year (approximately R$ 17,08/month), billed as a single annual payment, with a 7-day free trial
• Monthly Plan: R$ 29,99 per month, billed monthly, with a 7-day free trial
• One-Time Purchase (Lifetime): a single payment for ongoing access, with no recurring billing

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported and may vary by region due to exchange rates and local App Store / Play Store pricing. Prices are subject to change. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect, and your consent will be required where applicable.

4.3 Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period (yearly or monthly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan
• The one-time purchase does not auto-renew
• The renewal charge will be the same as the initial subscription price, unless you have been notified of a price change in advance

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

How to cancel:

• iOS: Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Allow → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Open Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → select Allow → Cancel

Cancellation terms:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period
• After cancellation, you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods

Refund requests:

• All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
• Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google
• We do not have the ability to process refunds directly

4.5 Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your active subscription or one-time purchase using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

5. Your Content and Privacy

5.1 Content Stored on Your Device

Your onboarding answers, chosen and custom affirmations, reflections, mood data, and voice recordings are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5.2 Custom Affirmations

You may write your own affirmations. They are saved exactly as you enter them, to the stage you are currently in. You are responsible for any content you enter and agree not to enter content that is illegal, harmful, or threatening.

5.3 Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create in the App, including custom affirmations and voice recordings. We do not claim ownership over your personal entries or recordings.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Ownership

The App, including its design, code, graphics, the handcrafted affirmation library, audio, animations, user interface, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its affirmation library
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Key points:

• Your personal practice data and voice recordings are stored locally on your device
• We do not maintain user accounts or server-side databases of your practice data
• The App does not use AI to generate content and does not transmit your answers, affirmations, or recordings for content generation
• Limited anonymous usage, subscription, and marketing-attribution data is processed through third-party services as described in the Privacy Policy

8. Notifications

The App may send notifications to remind you of your daily session. You can manage or disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The App's content will be appropriate for your particular needs
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems
• Any defects in the App will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for any loss of data stored on your device, including affirmation history, recordings, favorites, or preferences

11. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Allow is a wellness and personal development tool. It is not a medical device, therapy service, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or your local emergency services immediately.

• The breathing exercises, guided sessions, and affirmations are intended for general wellness purposes
• The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition
• Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new wellness practice if you have health concerns

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Allow and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice
• Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked
• You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscriptions
• Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15 shall survive termination

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and providing an in-app notification where appropriate. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including but not limited to:

• Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) — Law No. 13.709/2018 (data protection)
• Código de Defesa do Consumidor (CDC) — Law No. 8.078/1990 (consumer protection)
• Marco Civil da Internet — Law No. 12.965/2014 (internet civil framework)

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Brazil.

For users outside Brazil: If mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide you with greater protections than those offered by Brazilian law, those mandatory protections shall apply to the extent required.

For users in the European Union: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory EU consumer protection legislation, including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Allow regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
